Selena Gomez has been forthcoming in her statements about being single, and her actions are matching her words. Yesterday, Selena Gomez and Jaden Smith were seen going out to dinner in London. What will Justin Bieber, whom Gomez visited just last month, think?

The odd part about the date is that Smith is only 14-years-old, six years younger than the pop diva, Gomez. Bieber was only two years younger than Gomez, and even then she got scrutiny for the age difference, being called a "cougar" by some tabloids.

So, is Gomez trying to make Bieber jealous in what seems like a desperate ploy for attention by going out with Bieber's good friend, or are she and Smith just friends? It's hard to tell.

Gomez, and Smith were all smiles while grabbing a bite to eat at London's posh Hakkasan restaurant. The After Earth actor, who is in London promoting his new film with his dad, Will Smith, looked handsome in a long black suit coat as he escorted Gomez out of the restaurant. The former Wizards of Waverly Place actress also dressed up in a long black coat and and sheer black dress.

Gomez seemed to have gotten over whatever had her feeling ill just the day before, when she tweeted that she was under the weather.

"Sorry to everyone for having to cancel today. I am not sure if I am sick or ate some bad food but, I feel horrible," she wrote. "I am going to take the rest of the day and try and get better for tomorrow. So Sorry Love you guys."

As recently as March, Smith was dating the famous reality star, Kylie Jenner, 15.

Bieber and Gomez broke up in January, but have reunited multiple times since then. They recently shared a kiss at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19, which did not go over well with Gomez's friend Taylor Swift. The "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" was caught sticking out her tongue on camera when she saw them kiss.

So, maybe the rumor mill is correct in circulating that Gomez and Smith are dating. Then again, it could be just that, a rumor.
