On April 19, K-pop girl group Apink celebrated their eighth anniversary in the industry with the release of their newest single, "Everybody Ready?"
Carrying a celebratory theme, the song is a pop tune that boats tasteful and funky elements, accentuated by brassy horns and engaging clap beats.
In the track's accompanying video, the ladies continue to spread good vibes as they depict carefree images - the members are seen partying it out, and chilling by the sea.
Apart from the fittingly released song, Apink also commemorated their anniversary as they shared heartfelt messages thanking their fans on social media.
"To my beloved Pandas! Apink is already celebrating our eighth debut anniversary. I've been so, so happy for the past eight years thanks to the Apink members and Pandas," Park Chorong posted via the group's Twitter account.
“We've spent so long together that we could say that we now know everything without even having to express it, but I'll continue to keep expressing it more! You will too, right, Pandas? Thank you for always supporting and loving us," she further said.
Capping her message off with "Let's keep making great memories together!," she hinted that the K-pop idols have no plans of slowing down yet.
In her message, Yoon Bomi meanwhile expressed her sentiments of missing and being with her fellow members.
“To be honest, there are a lot of times lately when I miss our members, since we can't see each other due to our busy individual schedules! Although we met in the practice room today, haha. Everyone was just the same as always, hahaha. I'm so, so grateful to the members who have been with me up until now. I love you my Apink members so much and thank you so, so much to the Pandas too who have been together with us!," she wrote.
Apink was first launched by Play M Entertainment (formerly A Cube Entertainment and Plan A Entertainment) with the release of the EP, "Seven Springs of Apink," back in April 2011.
Since the debut, the group has become a household name through their bops, "NoNoNo" and "Luv."
Offering something fresh to their fans, Apink introduced a more mature and sultry musical style when they unveiled their song "I'm So Sick" in 2018.
Originally a seven-piece troupe, Apink is currently composed of six members namely Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eunji, Son Naeun, Kim Namjoo, and Oh Hayoung.
