Chief Keef Scares Katy Perry Into Apology; Now Best Friends Despite Keef's Still Violence and Misogyny
After calling out Chief Keef for his song "I hate being sober" Katy Perry was threatened on Twitter. So she apologized and now they appear to have become friends.
When Katy Perry sent an innocuous tweet out about the song "I hate being sober" saying "I heard a new song on the radio called 'I hate being sober' I now have serious doubt [sic] for the world," Chief Keef did not respond kindly.
Just heard a new song on the radio called "I hate being sober" I now have serious doubt for the world.

The Chicago-based rapper, Chief Keef let her have it with violent and misogynistic rebuttal to her thoughts on his musical themes. First he threatened her with physical harm:
Ill Smack The Shit out her — AlmightySo (@ChiefKeef) May 23, 2013
Then there was the sexual threatening that would leave even the most passive feminists ashen.
Dat bitch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my Dick
— AlmightySo (@ChiefKeef) May 23, 2013
Finally, Chief Keef, tweeted that there was a Katy Perry track coming soon, and with the other tweets involved, it would probably feature threats and sexual violence.
New Song Katy Perry Coming Soon — AlmightySo (@ChiefKeef) May 23, 2013
Rather than stand up to Chief Keef's mysoginistic rant and threats of violence, Perry apologized to the young Chicago rapper.
Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually... — Katy Perry (@katyperry) May 24, 2013
She then recapitulated what she meant by the earlier tweet while also praising Chief Keef's "Don't Like" video, #tbh (to be honest).
I'm a fan of your "Don't Like" video tbh. I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated. — Katy Perry (@katyperry) May 24, 2013
Perry followed up her pleading apology with an announcement that she's a lover not a hater. Writing: "Believe me, I'm a lover not a hater. x."

After that, Keef also seemed to take the apology in stride, even if his violence towards Perry and promise of a new Katy Perry song was still on his timeline at the time of this writing. Wrote Chief Keef after Perry's apologies:
@katyperry Oh Im Sorry Too Then — AlmightySo (@ChiefKeef) May 24, 2013
Chief Keef retweeted Katy Perry's apologies and then he was back up to his usual antics tweeting about wanting to have sex with Reggie Bush's baby mama, an instagram picture of him holding guns and drinking liquor, humor at his Atlanta mug shot, and proclamations that "I just want to f—k her I don't need her."
I jus Wanna fuck Her i dont need her. — AlmightySo (@ChiefKeef) May 25, 2013
Until someone sticks up to Chief Keef, he'll just keep spewing his hate speak all over Twitter. Katy Perry and Chief Keef are friends now, it appears and their beef is behind them, but heaven help the next musician to come out against Chief Keef. Here are some of his more recent Instagram pics:
Maybe Perry was right: "I now have serious doubt [sic] about the world"
