South Korean boy band GOT7's newest project will make their forthcoming "Keep Spinning" world tour more noble and memorable.
Called the "Keep Spinning, Keep Dreaming with GOT7," the project invites children with critical illnesses to attend the group's concerts. This is in partnership with the global philanthropic organization, Make-a-Wish Foundation, whose primary mission is to grant the wishes of youngsters with a brain tumor, cancer, and other diseases.
GOT7's world tour is slated to kick off with a two-night show at the KSPO Dome. One of the thousands of spectators who are expected to flock to the venue is Karime, a 17-year-old fan who will be the first beneficiary of the group's charitable endeavor.
The "Keep Spinning" tour will bring the boys -- JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom -- to key cities including Newark, Toronto, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Mexico, Santiago, Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, and Manila.
This series of concerts is in promotion of their newest album, "Spinning Top," which was launched last month. The effort is fronted by the single "Eclipse," with JB as one of its composers.
The other tracks also enlisted other members as co-composers and co-writers, showcasing the group's versatile musical chops.
Jinyoung co-composed and wrote "The End," while Youngjae contributed to the lyrics and melody of "Time Out." Yugyeom, on the other hand, co-writes the album opener "1°."
"Page," another track off the album, was co-penned and co-composed by JB, while "Will You Believe In Me" showcased the melody-making and lyric-writing skills of BamBam.
First launched by JYP Entertainment in 2014, GOT7 jump-started their career with the release of their EP "Got It?," which took the top spot of Billboard's World Albums Chart.
Since then, they have been releasing LSS-inducing hits including "A," "If You Do," and "Just Right."
