EXO Baekhyun's Mini Album "City Lights"

A few more days left and we will finally be blessed by Baekhyun's godly vocals through his first and most anticipated mini-album "City Lights." On July 1, SM Entertainment dropped a video teaser, titled "Concept Film: Day & Night," and two posters, Day and Night versions, of the EXO member's forthcoming solo debut on July 10.

As of writing, the 47-second clip already amassed around 792,000 views on Youtube. Different scenes and aspects of the idol-actor were featured in the teaser, which all in all instantly swept his fans off their feet. And at the end of the video, EXO-Ls, particularly BBH-Ls, are swooning over Baekhyun.

While the album hasn't fully ascended and many details are still kept under wraps, "City Lights" is already receiving a lot of support from fans. It's currently the best-selling album in Ktown4U, having pre-sold 164,723 copies as of press time.

On July 2, before midnight, SM unveiled the album details on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, not to mention that the inclusions can be viewed on the SMTown website through downloadable links at the bottom left of the page.

Both the Day and Night album versions will come with an 80-page photo book each. Sample photos were blurred to intensify fans' excitement further. Two versions of 16-page lyric books are also available, and even CDs, posters, and photo cards have Day and Night versions as well.

The title track of Baekhyun's upcoming mini-album is "UN Village," which is said to be "an R&B song with a combination of groovy beats and string sounds. The song features lyrics that depict romantic times while looking at the moon with a lover on the hill of the UN Village as if it's a scene from a movie."

On July 10, on the release date of his album, Baekhyun will hold his solo debut showcase at SAC Art Hall at 8:00 P.M. (KST) that will also be broadcasted in VLive. He is also set to perform the "UN Village" and talk about the making of his first solo album.

Meanwhile, it's not only Baekhyun that we should look forward to this month of July but also the launching of his fellow members Chanyeol and Sehun as the group's new sub-unit, EXO-SC, who will also release their first album, "What A Life," on July 22. A massive number of fans are also anticipating the upcoming concerts, namely the EXO Planet #5: EXplOration and Lay's solo concert tour "Grandline."
