One of the idols is ITZY's Yuna. On January 20, 2019, she was introduced as one of the members of ITZY, JYP Entertainment's new girl group, alongside four other girls namely Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, and Ryujin. They officially debuted on February 12 with their debut album "It'z Different" together with the title track entitled "Dalla Dalla."
During the girls' debut period, Yuna outshined from her group because of her maknae appeal and vibrant red hair. Other than that, the fans love her genuine smile and pleasing personality. Many believed that Yuna would be perfect to act as Princess Ariel.
ITZY is currently the fastest South Korean girl group to receive their first music show award nine days after their debut. In addition, the girls also hold the record of the most viewed K-Pop debut music video within 24 hours, having more than 17.1 million views upon the song's release.
ITZY is said to come back for the first time since their debut in July.
The other artist netizens revealed, which resembles Little Mermaid, is RED VELVET's Joy. The singer has a lot of photos wearing sleeveless and sailor outfits together with her lovely red hair, which caused many fans to realize the similarities she has with Princess Ariel. Also, her beautiful figure and stunning visual have once again amazed many.
Joy was revealed as the fourth member of RED VELVET on July 29, 2014, under SM Entertainment. That same year, the group debuted on August 1 with their digital single titled "Happiness." Since 2014, the girl group has launched six extended plays and two studio albums. Recently, RED VELVET released their latest song called "Zimzalabim."
Aside from group activities with RED VELVET, Joy also debuted as an actress and starred in various television dramas including "The Liar and His Lover" in 2017 and "Tempted" in 2018. Moreover, she joined the fourth season of the reality show "We Got Married," where she partnered with BtoB member Yook Sung-Jae, and they even released a duet on April 16, 2016, with the song "Young Love."
