K-pop idols Song Yoo Bin and Kim Guk Heon, both members of boy band MYTEEN, are set to debut as a duo. And ahead of their official launch, they will be holding an intimate fan meeting on August 31.
Billed as "The Present," the meet-and-greet will take place at the Kyunghee University. Fans can start avail tickets on the 19th via Interpark.
The MYTEEN members, who were also contenders in the latest season of "Produce X 101," decided to form a duo after the popular survival show concluded.
According to a representative from Music Works, their agency, the two "are preparing to debut as a unit" and "they have already finished recording their debut single."
The release date of their debut album as a duo is yet to be revealed.
According to the K-pop stars, their stint as a duo will showcase the transformation and learnings they had with their participation in "Produce X 101."
The show, now in its fourth season, is dedicated to scouting and honing K-pop idols coming from different agencies to form a project boy and girl group. Since its first run in 2016, it has already produced Wanna One, I.O.I., and I*ZONE.
Yoo Bin and Guk Heon first debuted in 2017 as part of the now-six-piece K-pop troupe MYTEEN. Originally a septet, the group is currently composed of the two, Chunjin, Eunsu, Hanseul, and Shin Junseop.
Ahead of his MYTEEN stint, Yoo Bin has already debuted as a soloist back in May 2016. He first joined the singing competition Superstar K6 in 2014 and has since been signed under Music Works.
With MYTEEN, Yoo Bin and Guk Heon have already released two EPs, "MYTEEN Go!"(2017) and "F;UZZLE"(2018). They are the boy band behind the hits "Amazing" and "She Bad."
