K-pop singer Sulli has been found dead at the age of 25. Sulli, real name Choi Jin-Ri, was discovered at a house in Seongnam, in the Gyeonggi province on Monday morning KST.
Sulli has seen her last appearance attending the photocall for FENDI on September 03, 2019 in Seoul, South Korea. After a month with no trace of depression found dead in her house by her manager. It was reported years ago in 2017 that due to rumors and physical illness she had been through, she had a tough time that leads to depression, which becomes a reason for her hiatus and left from the group f(x) of SM Entertainment.
Local police said Sulli was found by her agent at the residence at 3:21 p.m. local time. Police believe that the singer may have died by suicide, according to Yonhap. One of the Korean news portals reports that the agent visited Sulli's house on Monday after becoming concerned he couldn't reach her following their last phone conversation on Sunday evening.
"Choi seemed to have lived alone in the house. It seems that she took her own life but we are also looking into other possibilities," a police official said. Police are now investigating her house and will further release the statement. This is not the first time that a Kpop idol commits suicide. Two years ago Jonghyun of Shinee shock the Kpop world about his death.
