Rapper Penomeco, who's under the Million Market (SM Entertainment's sub-label), reportedly got involved in a vehicular accident which also involved a total of six cars. On Monday, October 21, Penomeco shared a now-deleted snap of him on Instagram wearing a neck brace.
Million Market opened up about Penomeco's accident and detailed that the rapper was on his way to an event when he got into a rear-end bumping that involved six cars. Due to this, he experienced neck pain and headed to the hospital to get treatment. His injuries were ruled out as a minor, but he has now postponed his schedule of activities until he recovers.
"At the time of the accident, Penomeco complained of neck pain due to the shock of being rear-ended and immediately went to the hospital to undergo tests. He's currently wearing a neck brace. He plans to rest for some time although it wasn't a serious injury," an insider from the company said.
Regarding the accident, the insider went on, "He was in the fifth car amongst the cars involved in the accident. On the way to Seoul after completing an out-of-town event, the car in front of him suddenly stopped so his car quickly stopped. The car behind us also quickly stopped, but the distance was short and a collision occurred. We will focus on treatment so that the artist can recover his health."
Penomeco is a member of the hip hop group FANXY CHILD, alongside Crush, Zico, Millic, Crush, and Stay Tuned. He also worked with the supergroup EXO as a songwriter for their latest title track "Tempo" and with Sehun and Chanyeol for their collaborative single (prior to their debut as a sub-unit EXO-SC) "We Young."
Penomeco, Suran, Doha, and Woo Taewoon became under the entertainment network giant in June of 2018 when the Million Market Entertainment was introduced as its new sub-label.
This merging actually and fundamentally contributed to Penomeco's YouTube views. Prior to joining the agency, his WTF (Went Too Far) garnered over 200,000 at the time on the streaming site. But his L.I.E., which was unveiled when he was already under SM, earned more than 2.5 million within four months only.
In late September this year, he was featured in Leebada's "High" music video. In the same month, it was announced that he will be dropping his new album soon and that he will team up with the "Show Me The Money" champion Nafla in one of the tracks, titled "Señorita." The other song's title is "Do Ma Thang."
