Seohyun is said to have recently attended a script reading session. In response to this, her agency Namoo Actors noted that Seohyun would indeed star in the said drama.

"Hello Dracula" is a two-episode television program that is set to air in the first half of 2020. It is a part of JTBC's "Drama Festa" series. Drama Festa is a fusion of "Drama" and "Festa," which is a one-act play television program of the said network that aims to provide colorful entertainment no matter what the material, format, platform, genre, and quantity.

Seohyun is said to be taking the role of the female lead character named Anna. The plot of the story and the other main actors/actresses and their parts are yet to be announced. This project serves as Seohyun's first return to the small screen after almost a year since her MBC drama titled "Time," which concluded in September 2018. Also, it is her first acting project since she revealed that she signed an exclusive contract with Namoo Actors last March and after leaving her long-time entertainment agency, SM Entertainment.

Seohyun entered the K-pop industry in 2007 when she debuted as the youngest member of Girls' Generation. She started her acting career six years later with a small role in SBS's television show titled "Passionate Love." She took the part of Han Yu Rim, who is a veterinary student and the first love of the male lead character.

Since then, she continued to be casted in more dramas with different genres, including the 2016 series "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," which helped her achieve a 'Special Acting' award, 2017 programs "Ruby Ruby Love" and "Bad Thief, Good Thief," and lastly, 2018 melodrama "Time."

Apart from television shows, Seohyun also accepted roles in musical theatres. She had her first musical acting role in January 2014 in "Moon Embracing The Sun." She acted the lead part, Yeon Woo, a daughter of an aristocratic family. She next starred in Scarlett O'Hara in 2015, and then Mamma Mia in 2016. She even appeared as a supporting role in a Chinese romantic-comedy film titled "So I Married An Anti-Fan."Are you excited for Seohyun's return to the drama world?
