VICTON Wins Their First-Ever Music Show Trophy

The boy group was one of the nominees for first place on SBS MTV's "The Show" with their track "Nostalgic Night." VICTON was in competing with TXT's "Run Away," and BDC's "Remember Me." VICTON got the top spot with a total score of 8,160, while TXT received 5,282, and BDC attained 3,251. An error happened during the broadcast but was corrected via Twitter.

This music show win is the boy band's very first since they made their debut three years ago on November 9 with their first extended play called "Voice to New World" which features the title track "I'm Fine." The moment VICTON accepted their trophy, the members couldn't contain their happiness, and so they burst into tears. They expressed their overflowing gratitude to the fans and the people who helped and supported them from the start.

In an interview with Newsen, VICTON shared their thoughts about their unexpected achievement. Subin went first and stated, "Honestly, when we find out that we were one of the nominees for first place, we were already thankful for just that. We are completely thankful for all of those who assist us and also to our fans ALICE (VICTON's fans) for always giving us love."

Sejun noted, "I held a trophy for the very first time today, and it's like I felt heavier thinking how we all worked hard for it. I want to tell my members that they did a great job. I also want to thank everyone who always works hard with us at Play M Entertainment as well as to ALICE. I hope that from this day forward, there will only be good things." Chan also commented by saying, "Many things took place during our year and a half break, and it feels so good to obtain a trophy as the number one group. Thank you so much for ALICE. I wish that everyone will not stop supporting us."

Seungsik then happily stated that he would like to give the award to their fans. He added, "Since our members did better than the others, I think they were able to overcome all the tough times. We will perform better next time and even work hard to be the best in the future."

Congratulations to VICTON!
