Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency revealed that they had booked ten individuals including high-ranking officials that are involved in the show's vote-rigging. These people are expected to advance to the prosecution today. The police also said that they are still in the process of knowing the details concerning the entertainment companies, involvement of notable persons, and favor exchanging.
The news outlet also wrote that the police are intending to gather the "Produce X 101" participants to question them. It is stated that the trainees who will undergo questioning are those at agencies where searches and seizures previously took place, as well as the ones who were possible to make it to the final lineup.
Apart from this news, many outlets have documented that X1 members may be called in for inquiries.
At this moment, X1 is in Thailand since they performed at "K-POP FESTA in BANGKOK" on November 10. On November 13, a rep for the rookie boy group told TV Report, "They are still not back in Korea, and they are completing their planned activities in the country. Their schedule following their recent event will be cleared as soon as the boys come back."
TV Report considered the rep's statement to be a hint that X1 members will not be summoned as witnesses when they noted, "Articles are spreading about things that are not real, without confirming with the agency."
X1 is reportedly planning to fly back to Korea before their next event, 2019 V Live Awards V HEARTBEAT, that will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on November 16.
TV Report also mentioned that in case there would be no changes in the group's schedule, then X1 will be attending the red carpet and perform at the said event. They further stated that a source from X1's agency told them, "Talks are still ongoing with Mnet, the event organizers, and other participants about attending the V HEARTBEAT." They also quoted that X1 currently has no further activities following V HEARTBEAT.
In support of the X1's rep's statement suggesting that the group will not be brought in for questioning, KBS News reported that summoning the "Produce 48" and "Produce X 101" trainees was never part of the investigation since the accusations relate to the show's staff members only.
