Last November 14, it was reported by Korean media outlets that several people have committed fraud by signing fake contracts with several companies. The people who used forged Big Hits Entertainment forms to deal with several companies were the company's employees also. Eleven companies have been victimized surmounting to 5 billion won (Approx 4.27 million dollars) as damages.
"The Fact" which is a Korean news outlet has reported that an actor was involved with the scheme. The said actor was tagged as "A" and his manager "S", both were accomplices of "K" which is responsible for the BTS concert fraud incident.
Last November 15, "A" and "S" have called a press conference to deny the allegations that they were involved in the incident. They also said they'd take legal actions against anyone who is spreading the false rumor.
The actor also said, "A lot of media companies have stated that they reported base on The Fact, but the article published by The Fact is not true."
Atty. Kim Dong Woo of Jangheon Law Firm, explained, "Actor 'A' and his manager 'S' are victims of serious defamation and obstruction of business." He added, "'K' is the main offender. 'A' and 'S' are just scapegoats used to redirect the issue," and strongly reaffirmed that they will take legal action.
The actor and his camp are going to press charges of defamation and obstruction of business against The Fact.
