The BTS outfits for the Grammy Awards will be displayed at the Grammy Museum as part of the Grammy Museum's "On The Red Carpet Presented By Delta" exhibit.
The Recording Academy announced the boy groups' black suits would soon be including the outfits in its museum. According to the agency Big Hit Entertainment on Monday, the Grammy Museum will display the suit BTS showcased at the 61st Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 10 this year. It is reportedly slated to remain open until next Spring. BTS was the first Korean artist to be invited to the awards ceremony at the LA Staples Center in February and stood on the red carpet in tuxedos. The tuxedo worn by BTS matched the Tom Ford shirt with Korean designers Kim Seo Ryong collection and Baek Ji-hoon's JayBaek Couture.
BTS became the first Korean singer to take the stage at the ceremony, presented the award for Best R&B Album. Following the Billboard Music Awards and the American Music Awards, the group also climbed the Grammy Awards to set the record of being on stage at the top three music awards in the U.S. RM, the group's leader, said at the time, "growing up in South Korea, we always dreamed of being on the Grammys stage. Thank you all our fans for making this dream come true, and we'll be back."
BTS iconic tuxedos will be featured at the third-floor exhibition hall of Grammy Museum building in LA, alongside other outfits from artists and celebrities, including Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Miranda Lambert, Michelle Obama, Amy Winehouse, and Kanye West.
BTS was invited by the Grammy Museum in September 2018 for an exclusive interview titled "A Conversation with BTS" moderated by the museum's artistic director Scott Goldman. This year, the group was made voting members of the Recording Academy, which holds the Grammy Awards.
