BoA is returning with new music next month!

A representative from SM Entertainment confirmed the news, saying, "At this stage, BoA is busy working on her new album. She aims to release it in December. So, please look forward to it."

BoA's December album will mark her first release after six months since her single "Feedback" featuring Nucksal, which was out in June of this year. Also, it will be her first album in more than a year since her ninth Korean album titled "Woman," which was launched in October 2018. Moreover, her forthcoming set of songs will be her third issue this year following "Feedback" and her Japanese single "Wishing Well."

BoA is one of the well-respected idols in the music industry and known as the queen of K-Pop. At the age of 11, she already became a trainee under SM Entertainment, thus spending her early childhood and teenage years training. Within her two years of training, BoA was sent to Japan to achieve Japanese fluency as Lee Soo Man wants to her not just a singer but an international star, Korea' very first international superstar.

As soon as she mastered Japanese, she became more comfortable in Japan. In 2000, BoA debuted at the age of 13 with her first album called "ID; Peace B" in South Korea. And unlike the idol groups today who experience success with their debut song, BoA's first release was just moderately successful, as well as her first mini-album "Don't Start Now."Then in 2002, BoA focused on the Japanese market and made her debut with "Listen to My Heart," which was a breakthrough in the singer's career. The album sold over a million copies and was certified platinum by Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). The following year, BoA released her second Japanese studio album called "Valenti," which became her best-selling album. "Valenti" even took the No. 2 spot on the Oricon chart, which is an impressive feat since back then, a Korean artist who would enter the Oricon and become famous with Japanese fans were unusual.

Apart from Korean and Japanese albums, BoA also launched two albums, "My Name" and "Girls on Top" with tracks sung in Mandarin in June 2004 and June 2005, respectively. BoA also entered the U.S. market in October 2008 with her American debut single titled "Eat You Up," which ranked 9th on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. She followed this up with her self-titled English album, which was issued in March 2009.

In addition, BoA established herself as a Hollywood movie actress in the dance film "Make Your Move 3D" in 2011. That same year, BoA became one of the judging panels on SBS's K-pop Star to represent SM Entertainment, since she is a shareholder of her a company since 2005. And besides being a singer and actress, BoA also became one of the producers for Mnet's reality show "Produce 101 Season 2" in 2017.

Considering that BoA debuted in 2000, and now it is 2019, it's already her 19th year to be in the entertainment industry and still going strong. Are you anticipating BoA's return?
