The legendary rock band U2 has their first-ever Seoul concert on the 8th of December KST.
During the live show, the Hollywood group performed "Ultra Violet Light My Way" as a tribute to some of Korea's significant women including Sulli. As the group sang, a screen behind them flashed with the title "Herstory" which showcased a slideshow of different photos including Jeju Island's female divers, the 1st South Korean lady pilot Park Kyung Won, female painter Na Hye Suk, famous woman lawyer Seo Ji Hyun, Enhwa Women's University prof. Hong Eun Ah, Lee Soo Jun who's both a Kyeonggi professor and criminal psychologist, violinist Jung Kyung Hwa, and the late singer Sulli.
The video was ended with a note saying, "Until we are all equal, no one is equal."
South Korean President Moon Jae In and his wife were spotted at the concert. U2 member Bono also thank them in the middle of their performance. Bono will also meet with the president today, December 9, to deliver a peace message at the Blue House.
