BLACKPINK Jennie Allegedly Received Hate Comments At An Event

At an Indonesian event that took place last January 14, wherein the four members of the idol group, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo, met their international fans coming from Indonesia.

While having the event that is being held at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan, Indonesia, the MC had an interview with the MC of the event. They were also given a chance to monitor the Live broadcasting screen, where they can be able to monitor the messages that were being sent by BLINKs.

However, fans and other netizens somehow noticed the change in BLACKPINK's Jennie's facial expression. And fans took notice on how several hate comments and malicious messages where being thrown to the female idol member, and Jennie seems to read them.

The idol, then tried to endure it, as they still had the interview, but her teary eyes and her way of trying to puff her check to prevent herself from crying breaks their true fans.

Meanwhile, fans console Jennie as they send heartwarming cheering messages through social media platforms, and even trended the hashtag, #JennieDeservesBetter worldwide, and at the same time, to spread awareness to YG Entertainment, and the host company to provide a more safe and comfortable environment for the idols, away from hate comments.

Furthermore, fans also noticed how BLACKPINK was poorly treated during the event. Fans took notice that Jennie was being ignored, and at the same time, The MC kept on interrupting what the girls are saying.

On the other hand, the host of the live event denies these claims and proved his side through his Instagram account. Lee Jeong Hoon, which was the MC of the event, says, " I hope you will be able to understand the conditions of all of us who are in your summons or backstage."

He had explained that everything that was being asked to the idol group had been planned and scripted, which he doesn't have any access to alter it. Jeong Hoon also apologized for the misunderstanding with the host between the fans who are monitoring the live stream as well as to those who were present at the event.

In addition to this, he clarifies that he is not ignoring the members; instead, it was BLACKPINK's request not to ask too many questions, as there were only a few that fit the members.

Also, to those Indonesian fans who were saddened of the thought that there was no Indonesian translate despite being on their place, MC Lee explained that it was a request from the authorities, wherein the interview will go on will full Korean.

Meanwhile, Jenni Kim recently had her birthday, and fans all over the world extend their birthday greetings and wish to the young lady through different social media platforms.
