Idols are known to live with each other in dormitories during the duration of their time as a group. However, some are fortunate enough to belong in a large and supportive company that can afford a larger and more luxurious residence for their artists.
In contrast, others gained their fortune and wealth from working hard and earning their living through their artistry and musical talents. Listed below are five groups who live in luxurious dormitories across Seoul, South Korea.
1. BTS
One of the most notorious Kpop group in the world right now, BTS, as they're known worldwide, are reported to be living together in a 6.53 million dollar suites complex. This complex located in the center of Seoul, among the many expensive apartment complexes and near the Han River and Mount Namsan in Hannam-dong neighborhood, which is in the Yongsan-gu district.
It is called Hannam THE HILL suites, which houses a variety of music and business executives, actors, actresses, artists, and high profile individuals in some of its 600 units in 32 separate and different buildings. Although the group has seven members, they chose an apartment with a total of 3,229 square feet which is pretty small for a seven-membered group.
The Korean Times has reported that the dorm includes three bedrooms, one of which is a master bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, and the central kitchen with a connected kitchenette. The idols also have access to the amenities of the complex, which includes a gym, a golf range, a swimming pool, and 24/7 medical care. The main advantage of living in THE HILL is the maximum security they provide the celebrities that are currently living there.
2. TWICE
The Nation's girl group Twice have been living in the same dormitory since they had debuted in 2015, and their current dorm is a 1.7 million dollar villa in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. Their home was shown during the broadcasting of Mnet's show called "TWICE Private Life."
Because of this, details of their apartment were made to public knowledge. Their house includes five rooms and the girls decided to share a place with 2-3 people to maximize the space, although the sleeping area was limited the apartment duplex has a total of 6 bathrooms, which is crazy! Aside from that, they also have a basement that they turned into a makeup room, which is beneficial during their promotions or solo activities when they have to get done up but would not have to leave the comfort and privacy of their homes.
3. BLACKPINK
A very lavish, spacious apartment gave the ladies of BLACKPINK by their company YG Entertainment. It is located Mapo District in one of the most prestigious complexes in all of Seoul, which is the Han River Bamseom Apartment, and yes, you've guessed it; it's right by the Han River, which means the girls always have a great view of the river. The price of their apartment complex is approximately 10.6 million dollars. The details of their house were made public recently during the broadcasting of their show called "BLACKPINK HOUSE," which presented how each member had a room of their own that each comes with a mini balcony. Their dorm is reported to have 2,135 square feet of space.
