Nevertheless, the majority are excited and can't wait to see the female idol turned actress to portray the role that she will be doing for the first time since her acting debut.
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation has been known for supporting the LGBT community and was one of the few people, including SHINee and f(x), who stood up against the people who were hating the third gender.
In addition to this, Seohyun shared that she personally picks after being on hiatus on the small screen for quite a long time.
"Anna, who has been hurt by the world's eyes, is a person who seeks acceptance and tries her best to become the 'real" her in front of her mother, who's the only family she got. To me, "Hello Dracula" is a drama that I would like to share with people, a drama to look forward to. It is a heartwarming drama and will surely touch everyone's heart. Hopefully, it serves as a gift to the viewers."
Seohyun was revealed to be playing the role of Anna, who is a lonely teacher who longed for comfort amidst being able to comfort young students with emotional scars. She has been the obedient daughter to her mother ever since she was young until her twenties.
Seohyun's role then met the role of Lee Chung Ah, who will be going to play as the girlfriend of Anna, who eventually leads to a break-up.
Netizens were then showing positive feedback, commenting on how the two will do well not just only because of their stunning visuals but because of their acting skills as well.
Moreover, fans and viewers are anticipating the romance between the casts' characters, who are going to be broadcasted in Korea amidst having LGBT main characters for a drama is still a Taboo.
