BTS set a new record once again after 'ON', title track of their new album 'Map of the Soul: 7', ranked 4th on the Billboard Hot 100. Last year, the septet's lead single and collaborative track 'Boy With Luv' with international singer Halsey took the 8th spot on the same chart.
In particular, BTS is the globally-renowned K-pop boy band that has the most songs, such as 'Fake Love', 'Idol', 'Mic Drop', 'DNA', 'Make It Right' and 'Waste It On Me', enter the Hot 100 chart.
BTS has sold more than 3.3 million copies in a week after releasing its 4th album 'Map of the Soul: 7' by Big Hit Entertainment, which was released worldwide on the 21st of February, 2020. It follows their 2019-released extended album 'Map of the Soul: Persona'. It contains 20 tracks, including 'Make It Right', 'Boy With Luv', and 'Jamais Vu'.
Immediately after unveiling it, the album ranked first on iTunes 'Top Album' in 91 countries and territories all over the world, and first in Japan's 'Oricon Daily Chart'. The title song 'ON' occupied major music charts across the globe, such as No.1 in Korea's major music charts and chart lines, and No.1 in iTunes and 'Top Song' in 83 countries and regions.
