BTS's agency, Big Hit Entertainment, is actively monitoring the situation amidst the pandemic coronavirus. Due to this, the agency temporarily postponed all the activities of the group, including their 'Map Of The Soul' world tour and promotions.
With the number of COVID-19 cases in South Korea, BTS's world tour remains on hold. Last week, Live Nation posted an official announcement on their official twitter account and was reposted by Billboard, saying, "Recognizing national concerns over the spread of the #CoronavirusPandemic, Live Nation is instructing its touring shows to prepare to return home."
On Friday, March 13, the first venue of the BTS's 'Map of the Soul' world tour, Levi's Stadium, also uploaded a notice through their official Twitter account. The post emphasized that starting on the same day, the stadium will close its doors for any type of event until further notice.

We aim too to produce a decision that will benefit the health and wellness of all San Francisco. 49ners along with the Levi's Stadium staff, patrons and the community at large itself.
In light of the recent issues, the guidelines issued yesterday by the federal government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19, the SAP Performance Center and Levi's Stadium will close its establishments and stop all their operations starting in March 13, until further notice. Employees and staff are instructed to work from home remotely while the coaches and other scouts will be ordered to head back home by the weekend. Private and the public team event will also have to comply with the guidelines and that all of their events have been canceled in participation with the protocol.
As we prepare for the 2020 season and the approaching Levi's Stadium event calendar, we are in touch with the NFL and event organizer to collect and share updates when necessary.
We acknowledge everyone's participation and understanding in times of these unexpected events. Know that we manage this seriously and we are focusing on everyone's health and public safety."
As of writing, many cities and countries are in lockdown and/or quarantined, to reduce or decelerate the number of people getting affected by the pandemic. Public gatherings are strictly prohibited as well as concerts, dining out restaurants and schools are temporarily closed and postponed
Big Hit Entertainment is strictly monitoring the situation and will soon be updating the fans if changes may occur.
"We are currently discussing BTS' world tour and we promise to announce the decision as soon as we finalized it," the agency stated.
Reports from South Korean news media stated that the Big Hit Entertainment's staff has started to work from home to avoid the risk of getting infected by the coronavirus. BTS members Jin, RM, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, Jungkook and V still continue to rehearse their vocals and choreography in the practice rooms and hope that everything will be fine soon so that they could show the world what they have been preparing for a long time.
