The restraining order may be gone but Nayeon's management still chose to continue to protect her.
JYP Entertainment made an announcement that TWICE's Nayeon has dropped the restraining order against her foreign stalker, while the management swears to continue to take legal actions and implement strict measures to protect her, her group, and other artists under JYPE.
According to the news report made on March 18, Nayeon requested the Seoul Central District Court to drop the restraining order against her foreign stalker on March 17. Her management refused to give comments on why the idol made the request.
Following the news, her company JYP Entertainment confirmed the news about the withdrawn restraining order and still pledged to continue protecting their artist Nayeon.
In an official statement, JYP Entertainment said:
"Due to the issues with processing, the restraining order we recently charged will be dropped for now and know that this will be effective again once the stalker enters South Korea again.
We confirm that we have dropped the criminal charges against the foreign stalker on the grounds of obstruction of business. If and when the foreign stalker plans to enter South Korea again, the immigration officials will alert the police and he will soon be taken from the Incheon International Airport."
On January 28, Nayeon's stalker named Josh finally returned to Germany. Weeks passed by and he started to express once again his desires to go back to South Korea in the hope of seeing TWICE's Nayeon despite the restraining order and criminal charges filed against him.
Josh also released his reasons for why he went back to his home country Germany.
"I want my Nayeon to be happy. I don't know what she wants but I know going back to Germany will make her happy, that's why I decided to do it. I feel sad and it really hurts my heart but all I want is the best for Nayeon. This will make her happy," he said.
On February 18, Josh once again uploaded a new message to his social media account stating that he has a new plan to go back to South Korea and reach out to her.
"I have a new plan to hopefully fly back to Korea and get my messages to Nayeon. I know going back to Korea is a lot of work but I will do it for Nayeon because she is the only love of my life. Nayeon, I honestly love you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope we can talk soon," Josh said.
However, Josh seemed to have forgotten his wrong actions before. On January 8, JYP Entertainment released their announcement to the public that they have already filed a restraining order against the foreign national for stalking Nayeon and a criminal charge for leaking Chaeyoung's phone number to the public using social media as his platform.
