BTS's TALKS ABOUT CONCEPT FOR UPCOMING ALBUM

On May 11, BTS broadcasted a band briefing live on their BANGTANTV YouTube channel. The members' spoke about the different concepts, ideas, and messages for their next album.

BTS's Jimin, who revealed he is indeed the project manager for the next release in a previous episode, has requested each memebr to indicate the concept they want for the album, style of music, band tracks and much more.

Suga said, "I do not want the album to be quite dark. Rather, I want it to be able to send the feeling of warmth to the listeners. I'd prefer it if we could send a more metaphorical meaning like 'Spring Day' to give everybody hope."

RM added, "I want everyone to have an idea that our lives go on, no matter what else is happening in the outside world."

Jimin, referring to the existing pandemic situation, stated that he would prefer it if they could find a simple, enjoyable way of expressing gratitude for the goods that are normally taken for granted.

RM said, "I was thinking about what everyone would want to hear from a friend, like telepathically talking with our listeners. If you take a look at WeVerse or Twitter, there are plenty of people who are outraged because our concerts have been cancelled. How cool would it have been if we were able to express our thoughts without needing to speak anything? I personally believe the seven years we managed to spend together would be our telepathy, and the looks we share mostly during live performances."

Suga conveyed his concept to be something like a letter for every part of the song. "I opened a book yesterday, and a letter fell out of it. It came out, and I just gazed at it in that instance. I'd prefer it if the Keywords for the upcoming letter was Letters. I think it would be fun if every song were a letter and we were writing about a range of stuffs. Not intended for any particular person or group, but also something which everybody can connect to."

J-Hope said he would like to include a soundtrack that showcases the style of BTS. "I'd prefer it ifwe had at least one 'BTS-like' song."

After agreeing that the members should sketch out their proposals and submit everything to Jimin, BTS moves on to explain unit paths and finishes up the meeting.
