In the middle of these tough times, BLOCK B's Zico and Suzy have both rendered major donations.
On May 25, Busan's Education Office announced that they had been granted permission from Zico to use "Any Song" for free to create a jingle for social awareness, concerning COVID-19. This "Any Song" jingle has been spread throughout Busan on May 20 to elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, special schools, and group learning institutions, as per the department of education.
"Any Song" was initially established on January 13 and became an instant success, with the popular "Any Song" dancing challenge also gaining a lot of publicity.
The re-produced lyrics of the song contain advice on taking preventive measures against COVID-19. Based on the original song, the lyrics also provide lines such as, "Why are you not opening the door? Speak something about what the problem is. Rush, and do your self-diagnosis, these times, they say that's the trend."
Busan Office of Education Superintendent Kim Seok Joon said, "I am grateful to Zico for authorizing us to use his recording for free. This tuning would become the supervisor (overseer), protecting the learners and school personnel as they begin school."
Even the actress and singer Suzy donated all of the profits from her forthcoming beauty book. Her book preview, "Obsession With Suzy," was launched on May 25 by cosmetic company, Lancôme.
The book is all about what portrait Suzy feels very much like herself, about the liberty and freedom one hopes of, and the different ways one can uncover their self beauty. It also carries a supportive message, encouraging all women to be proud, comfortable, and happy!
This beauty book's profits will be transferred and used throughout the nation towards health products for young women with low earnings.
A beauty book delegate said, "As a woman myself, I believe this would at least become such a bit of encouragement for young women around the nation who will start on fresh ventures. I hope our hearts are expressed positively and welcoming."
