The rivalry can be intense among several idol groups and artists in the Korean pop industry, causing groups to launch more mini-albums instead of full-length official ones.

Here is a compilation of many idol groups, some of which have launched substantially fewer full-length releases compared to the years in the business they have all been in.

NU'EST

NU'EST made its debut in 2012 and launched only one full-length album with "Good Bye Bye" as the title track in 2014. Five years and ten months have occurred ever since, and they have yet to produce another.

MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO has made its debut in 2014 and launched two full-length albums. Their most famous full-length release with the title track "Hip" was in 2019. Its latest full-length album release took three years and nine months.

TWICE

TWICE successfully launched in 2015 and produced just one full-length album with the title song "Likey" in 2017. After that time, it has been two years and seven months, and they've yet to launch another full-length album.

APINK

Apink made its debut in 2011, and in that period, produced three full-length albums. The most current full-length release was "only one" in 2016. They have still yet to launch another full-length album even after three years and eight months.

INFINITE

INFINITE made its debut in 2010 and has since just released three full-length albums. Their most latest full-length album with the opening track "Tell Me" was in 2018. It took them three years and eleven months to launch their second full-length album and to produce their third full-length album about three years and eight months.

And it has been two years and four months after their last full-length release, right now.

BTOB

BTOB made its debut in 2012 and has now released two full-length albums. Their most recent full-length album was their opening track "Missing You" in 2017. Since then, it's been two years and seven months, and they've yet to produce another full-length record.

AOA

AOA launched in 2012, releasing just one full-length album from their career. Their initial full-length album in 2017 with the opening track "Excuse Me" cost them four years and five months to launch. It's been three years after their last full-length release.

RED VELVET

Red Velvet made its debut in 2014, and during that period, they released two full-length songs. Their last successful full-length launch was with "Peekaboo" in 2017. A year after they published a repackage album in 2018.

Two years and four months have elapsed after their last full-length release.

LOVELYZ

Lovelyz premiered in 2014, and two full-length records have been issued since their start. In 2017 their new full-length album was "WoW! "that same year they produced a repackage record. Three years have passed since they published another full-length album.

BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK started their careers in 2016, and a full-length remains out of sight.

SF9

SF9 started their careers in 2016 and launched a full-length album in 2020, which took three years and three months to eventually produce their first full-length album.

ASTRO

ASTRO officially launched in 2016 and launched a full-length album, "Call Me," in 2019. It lasted two years and eleven months for them to produce their initial full-length album.
