When Sunmi was a fourth-grader, she decided to become a celebrity, not because she had a passion for performing, but also because she believed it is the fastest way to earn. Sunmi's father, who had been raising Sunmi and her two brothers as a single parent, fell sick with tuberculosis and had to be hospitalized. To afford treatment payments, at 12 years old, she decided to go for an audition and start her career.

GOT7 Bambam
The group's second maknae, Bambam, has a mother who was forced to raise her son alone because of his husband's passing away due to illness. Bambam was only three years old, and his mother deserves to be called a tough woman for being able to raise four children and given proper education to all of them.

Their difficulties didn't stop Sohee, though, to aim for a dream.
SHINee Jonghyun
The late idol grew up really well with just his mother and older sister. You can confirm that Mama Kim filled Jonghyun with so much love as he grew as a man of respect, a person who cares for others and is really selfless. Before leaving the physical world, he had healed so many wounds of his fans through his words and music, and affirm them that they are doing well.

WINNER Seungyoon
His mother raised the leader of YG Entertainment's WINNER Seungyoon as his parents divorced when he was young. As an only child, he learned to play the guitar in the eighth grade. Since then, he decided to pursue his dreams as an artist and became a contestant on Mnet's singing contest Superstar K2, ending up in fourth place.
