The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or MBTI test is gaining popularity among Korean idols lately. It's based on C.G Jung's theory of psychological types, and it attempts to group people according to their mental functions.
The swiss psychiatrist wrote that what appears to be utterly random behavior is surprisingly the result of distinction in the way people choose to utilize their mental capacities. Therefore, the MBTI test discern people based on their answers on the subjective questionnaire. Through their responses, it will be apparent how they make decisions and perceive the world.
Through this, an individual's personality can then be categorized as follows:
- (E or I) Extraversion or Introversion
- (S or N) Sensing or Intuition
- (T or F) Thinking or Feeling
- (J or P) Judging or Perceiving
There are 16 personality types under MBTI. A "T" and "A" are also indicated after the results to represent the person's confidence with regards to his decision making. Other personalities are also more common than others, and several studies were undertaken to determine how many percentages of the world's population have the same MBTI types.
Recently, TWICE has joined the bandwagon and released several videos on their official YouTube Channel wherein each member was filmed taking the MBTI personality test.
Jihhyo and Mina got the ISFP-T, which means they are the adventurous types.
Likewise, Tzuyu had the same result, just different decision-making levels, ISFP-A.
Sana got the ENFP-T or otherwise called the Campaigner type.
Momo and Chaeyoung got the mediator type, INFP-T.
Dahyun and Jeonghyun's results are the same, ISFJ-T or the defender type.
Lastly, Nayeon is the virtuoso type, ISTP-A.
Furthermore, netizens noticed how all members except for Sana are introverts. Are you curious about what MBTI personality you may have as well? You can take the test here and find out which TWICE member has the same personality as you!
