BTS performed their new song "Your Eyes Tell" on Japan's Count Down TV Live for the first time!
Both Japanese and international fans of the group have anticipated the live performance of BTS on CDTV today, July 13, at 10:00 PM. BTS's appearance on the show is a part of their promotional activities for their upcoming album "Map of the Soul:7 ~The Journey~."
During the live program, BTS performed "Your Eyes Tell," which is a part of their B-side for the first time. The song written and produced for a Japanese movie of the same title was composed and arranged personally by Jungkook, BTS's maknae. It is one of the highly-anticipated tracks of the group's upcoming album.
After the group's live performance, BTS trended worldwide and ARMYs flooded Twitterverse. One fan tweeted the complete lyrics and line distribution of the group.
Netizens also commended the group's vocals. No one missed how great the rapping was blended in the ballad, given that they're separate genres. BTS member Jimin also hit the high notes gracefully like an angel sent from heaven. Also, every member's voices were filled with so many emotions that the song easily penetrated the listeners' hearts. What powerful vocals and superb talent from South Korea's number one boy group.
Because of the impact done by BTS's live performance of "Your Eyes Tell," a Twitter user even made a fan edit wherein the audio was used for a short clip featuring the famous Japanese movie "Kimi No Nawa," and it perfectly fits! This makes fans more excited about the upcoming film that'll feature BTS's song on its soundtrack.
