As one of the "Big 3," people expect that SM Entertainment gives its artists world-class treatment. However, some of these talents have called the company's attention due to poor management.

Here are K-pop idols who called out, threw shade against SM Entertainment:

Girls' Generation Taeyeon

During her solo concert ("PERSONA") in Taiwan in 2017, Taeyeon's fan approached her and said she received a shoddy album. To make up for the incident, Taeyeon gave the fan a new album with an autograph and dedication.

The singer also called out SM Entertainment's right then and there.

Girls' Generation Seohyun

Another member of Girls' Generation, Seohyun, also expressed her frustrations with SM Entertainment publicly. She said that the company was too strict, especially regarding the artists' making their songs.

She also confessed that since her debut with the company, she had submitted six songs, all of which were rejected.

Girls' Generation Sooyoung

The last Girls' Generation member on the list to call out SME is the lovely and beloved Sooyoung. Once, she threw shade at SM for giving her the least number of lines in a song.

Jessica Jung

Jessica was also a member of Girls' Generation, but she publicly announced in 2014 that SM Entertainment kicked her out of the group.

The public was shocked to hear the news. However, Jessica wasn't afraid to call out the company for allegedly mistreating her.

She shared that she was still expecting to do promotional activities with Girls' Generation, but the management called her and eight other people, as they informed the singer that she was no longer part of the group.

EXO Suho

When EXO Suho, alongside co-members Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Chen, Kai, and Sehun were invited as a guest on "Radio Star," the leader shared some of his disappointments with SM Entertainment. He said that when their group was starting, the company put a lot of effort into their work. From audio to video, SME was keen on details.

However, as the group progressed, it seems like the company doesn't promote them as much as they did.

Also, nowadays, the singer shared the company no longer books suite rooms for the leader when they go on concert tours overseas.

Super Junior Heechul

During a show, the idol singer called out SM Entertainment for selling low-quality merchandise.

The NCT member Taeyong once called out his manager during live streaming, as the manager told him to immediately cut the live stream and stop talking with the fans.

f(x) Amber

When f(x) Amber left SM Entertainment, she publicly announced that the company mistreated her.

Henry

Similarly, Henry also departed SM Entertainment after nine years of being with the company due to the company not being to handle his career well. He said during an interview, "I made a mistake by joining SM Entertainment nine years ago. How can I move on now? My fans are the ones that make me strong."
