Netizens now question JYPE for possible recycling of track as TWICE's "More & More" is linked to Zara Larrson's supposed debut single five years ago.

A leaked track of the Swedish singer and songwriter, Zara Larrson is now getting a huge buzz after the melody of the song is similar with TWICE's latest comeback hit, "More & More." The English version is said to have been the original debut song for Zara but launched another lead single under her album, "1." After listening to the Swedish singer's, "Back & Forth," the netizens claimed that JYP had recycled a song for TWICE.

However, based on TWICE's "More & More" album poster, Zara Larrson was given credits as one of the composers of the track alongside three other names. J.Y Park wrote the lyrics of the song. which is a combination of the Korean and English language. Therefore, it is possible that the label bought the demo song for the K-pop idol group, which eventually made a huge success in the music scene. It has been a practice in the music scene to sell demo tracks to other artists.

With this, a lot of sentiments among netizens came in. Some have expressed that there is nothing wrong with JYP purchasing Zara Larrson's track as it is something on a legal basis.

One fan tweeted, "Girl, Twice had their own version of the song. There's nothing wrong with buying demos. People liked it, now that people found out it was bought, ya'll start hating it?"

"What's the issue with this? NONE. Both sound amazing. The song aged just fine. You can have songs written for 10 years, remaster them and release. IT HAS BEEN DONE A MILLION TIMES IN MUSIC," one netizen explained on Twitter.

However, some are in rage over people who are comparing the artists as well as defaming TWICE. ONCE's came in to defend the kpop idols.

"Unf, I don't know where the demo floated from but the Zara Larrson demo for TWICE's MORE & MORE hits a different note for me. its really good but it might be because it's in English & I "understand" the feeling more. As a twice fan though, I still love their versions. They're all great," one commented.

Meanwhile, TWICE's version of Zara Larrson's original composition has garnered different successes after its launching on the 1st of June this year. It was recorded by Hanteo that it sold 260,000 copies on the first day of released, thus breaking the record as the highest first-days sales of a Korean girl group at that moment. It debuted as number 1 on Gaon Charts.
