In a past live broadcast during Red Velvet's "Umpah Umpah" era, the girls revealed that they are huge fans of the milk tea chain Gong Cha. There, they revealed what order they usually get when they pay a visit to the nearest Gong Cha.

Irene revealed that her usual order is a taro smoothing with black pearls and coconut. Taro has a sweet and nutty taste that suits the East Asian palette. It's a purple drink that suits Irene well, who is sweet but has many sides to her!

Seulgi's usual order at Gong Cha is a black milk tea with pearls. Black milk tea is a classic Gong Cha order and is one their specialities. In fact, it's a best-seller! It's a sweet and milky drink that is perfect for any season. It's just as sweet as Seulgi! She is the only Red Velvet member to select a milk tea as her favorite drink.

Wendy's usual order is a grapefruit green tea lemonade with 30% sugar and regular sugar, and her add-ons include black pearl and coconut. What a combination! Maknae Yeri was added in 2015 and debuted with the song "Ice Cream Cake".
