Kwon Mina, a former member of the K-pop idol group AOA, recently took it out on her Instagram how badly FNC Entertainment staff handled the bullying issue she revealed in July, involving her former co-members. In addition to this, she posted a lengthy follow-up message, exposing the members who were bystanders despite knowing and seeing that she was being bullied, and the members who helped her.
In her first post, she vented out her frustrations to the agency and revealed that the idol-actress, Mina, almost re-took her own life after having a conversation with some of the FNC staff members. This then caused fans to worry about her current state, but her current agency confirmed that she's already doing well.
However, Mina, who confessed that she has been receiving profanity and hatred from netizens and AOA fans for allegedly "playing the victim," and "trying to ruin the members," finally exposed the members who witnessed her being bullied by Jimin that caused her pain for 11 years, but didn't even do anything nor stood up for her.
In her post, she addressed Seolhyun as best friend Kim, the closest friend of Jimin, who didn't stand up for her despite knowing that she was being ill-treated by their co-member. Mina also shared what Seolhyun said to her when Jimin was exposed to be the bully, which shocked fans.
According to Mina, Seolhyun said she doesn't care about what happened, and just hated the whole situation.
Meanwhile, the idol-actress also revealed Chanmi as the member who tried to console her by talking ill about their leader but tried to get on Jimin's good side as well. Netizens then described Chanmi as a two-faced idol, but Mina said that it's how social life works. Nevertheles, she can't understand her insincerity.
Further, Mina also talked about Yuna, whom she said was being sincere and treasuring her as one of the youngest members. However, she said it doesn't change the fact that no one stood up for her when Jimin was treating her terribly.
Mina then revealed Hyejeong to be the only one who tried to speak up for her, telling Jimin, "Why can't you remember anything? I know it, and everyone here knows it." She also told her to ask for a proper apology, but Mina said that she can't receive it when the one who's trying to apologize wasn't even sincere.
As she concluded her now-deleted message, she revealed that from her point of view, the two Kims were indeed bystanders, especially Seolhyun. Mina also explained that she unfollowed everyone to erase her memories with AOA members.
On the other hand, fans were washed over by concern after Mina posted a photo of her with the caption, "Jinri-ya, I miss you."
Fans think that there's a cryptic reason behind the post, especially when she opened up about her mental health and getting medical treatment. It was noted that Mina and Sulli were close friends, and she was devastated after Jinri, Sulli's real name, passed away in 2019.
Due to this, netizens are sending comforting messages to Mina, expressing their love for the idol-actress.
