Haena of the group ANS posted a message on her SNS account on the 15th, saying, "I can't stand it anymore."
The idol continued, "I didn't want to damage my life to the end even if it was so hard that I was going to die, and I felt so sorry for those who supported and liked me, so I was having a hard time and caring for myself."
The rookie idol's sentiments generated another internet buzz, hinting another K-pop girl group feud. Let's take a look at the previous controversies that shook fans this year.
AOA's Bullying Controversy
Kwon Mina, former AOA member turned actress, bravely revealed that she had suffered 10 years of bullying from her former leader, Shin Jimin. As she poured out her emotions over the mistreatment she received from the latter, Jimin made a cryptic post, saying, "Fiction," on her SNS, which she immediately deleted after receiving massive backlash among fans.
What's worse was when Mina revealed her scars on her wrist. Thus, in the heat of the scandal, Jimin eventually withdrew from the group left the industry, as per the announcement of FNC Entertainment.
Not long after, Mina re-opened the issue and made a revelation regarding Jimin, Seolhyun, FNC Entertainment's CEO, and other AOA members, which worried fans after she hinted of harming herself once again. Woori Actors quickly responded towards their talent's behavior and reassured fans that Mina was being taken cared of by her mother and was undergoing medical treatments. She also deleted her Instagram account as a form of personal choice as well as declining further investigation over the incident.
ILUV Bullying Controversy
After AOA's bullying scandal, another girl group feud has been set afire after Shin Minah's revelation. The group that's currently being revamped to debut under a new name, Botopass, garnered attention on social media days before their re-launching.
Shin Minah took to her YouTube channel to express her feelings over her stand within her group members. While she is known to be uploading videos of her daily trainee life, fans were stunned after revealing that she planned to take her life in the Han River but fortunately, a police officer was able to resuce her. She called her bullies as "perpetrators" and netizens speculated that she was pertaining to its members.
With this, her agency quickly responded over the matter and even mentioned that Minah's solo album is being prepared. Due to this controversy, ILUV's new name was delayed. Thus, the agency started to release a statement over Minah's false accusations and plans of filing legal actions.
Most recently, Shin Minah took to her Instagram to answer WSKN ENE's statement and strongly mentioned about standing still with her stand.
Hanae's Recent Instagram Post
Now, another girl group has been washed over by the same controversy. The rookie girl group is under fire after its maknae shared concerning SNS posts:
"I don't want to cause any damage, but I can't really endure it, so I wonder if one day I can understand how I felt when I put it all quietly without saying anything," Hannah said. "What was good about me that I was so willing to take it on my own? I knew how desperate I was, so I didn't want to ruin it and make it difficult," Hanae said, hinting that he had made an extreme choice.
What makes it alarming is when she mentioned, "If I die quietly, no one knows why, but at least if I were a human being, I thought I would live with a feeling of sorry," and added, "But I didn't really want to wake up, but it's even scarier when I woke up. You never did that without proof? No matter what I hear, it's not because I'm stupid to stay still."
Hanae also gave a concerning notice by saying that it will be her last consideration and the person concern should think it carefully. "Even if I can't forgive you, I'll carry it alone," she said. Although she did not specifically target names of individuals, netizens strongly believe that the group is having a falling out.
Eight-member girl group ANS debuted in September last year and released its first single "Boom Boom." Meanwhile, regarding Hanae's disclosure, ANS Entertainment, has not made any particular position.
The issue of bullying is becoming a huge concern of netizens, with some blaming the labels for not taking care of this matter and their artists. For years, plenty of K-pop idols have revealed that they have been suffering depression, anxiety, and panic disorders, and are much overworked than the usual, which show that they need a breather and utmost care the most.
