On September 18th, I-LAND aired its finale episode. During the episode, they announced the name of the group would be ENHYPEN. Here are the members who will be debuting as members of the group.
First, let's talk about the group name. Their name ENHYPEN has a special meaning. Just like a hyphen connects different words to create new meanings, ENHYPEN will connect with one another, grow together, and discover more about each other. The group will grow together and with the fans, providing a close experience.

1. Heeseung
Heeseung is the oldest member of the group and in a 2001 liner. Heeseung trained under Big Hit Entertainment for three years and a month and trained alongside the TXT boys, but was not included in their debut line-up. He is a skilled vocalist, rapper, an dancer. During the finale, Heeseung garnered 1,137,323 votes and ranked 5th place.
2. Jay
Jay was born in Seattle, Washington, United States, and is a 2002 liner. He moved to South Korea when he was nine-years-old. He is the son of a CEO in Sinar Tours. Jay trained under Big Hit Entertainment for two years and 11 months. During the finale, Jay garnered 1,182,889 votes and ranked 2nd place.
3. Jake
Jake was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, and is a 2002 liner. He trained under Big Hit Entertainment for nine months. During the finale, Jake garnered 1,179,633 votes and ranked 3rd place.
4. Sunghoon
Sunghoon is a 2002 liner. Prior to becoming a trainee, he was a professional figure skater and was a two-time national junior silver medalist who represented South Korea in numerous international competitions. He won the 2015 Asian Open Trophy and Lombardia Trophy. He trained for two years and one month under Big Hit Entertainment. In the finale, Sunghoon garnered 1,088,413 votes and ranked 6th place.
5. Sunoo
Sunoo is a 2003 liner and trained for 10 months under BELIF+. He was popular during the show for being the trainee who could pull off cute and refreshing concepts the best. During the finale, Sunoo garnered 935,771 votes, ranking 8th place. However, he was able to join the 7-member line-up as the producer's choice.
6. Jungwon
Jungwon is a 2004 liner and trained for a year and four months under Big Hit Entertainment. In the finale episode, Jungwon pulled a huge reversal. He was ranked the last place in the previous round but ended up garnered 1,417,620 votes, ranking him 1st place.
7. Ni-ki
Ni-ki was born and raised in Okayama, Japan, and is a 2005 liner. He trained for eight months under BELIF+. Around 2016-2017, Ni-ki was a back-up dancer for SHINee. At the time, he was around 12-years-old. During the finale, Ni-ki garnered 1,140,718 votes, ranking him 4th place.
