Ever wondered what zodiac sign your favourite idol is and maybe even, whether they'd be compatible with you? The zodiac is an area of the sky that extends approximately 8° north or south (as measured in celestial latitude) of the ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun across the celestial sphere over the course of the year. The paths of the Moon and visible planets are also within the belt of the zodiac.
In Western astrology, and formerly astronomy, the zodiac is divided into twelve signs, each occupying 30° of celestial longitude and roughly corresponding to the constellations: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
These astrological signs form a celestial coordinate system, or even more specifically, an ecliptic coordinate system, which takes the ecliptic as the origin of latitude and the Sun's position at the vernal equinox as the origin of longitude.
Gemini is the third astrological sign in the zodiac, originating from the constellation of Gemini. It is a positive mutable sign. Under the tropical zodiac, the Sun transits this sign between about 21 May and 21 June. Gemini is represented by the twin's Castor and Pollux, known as the Dioscuri. Gemini people are characterized by their wit, passion, and spontaneity. However, they know how to put on different faces for different people, closely monitoring how the world sees them. Gemini never gets stuck in the past and doesn't ruminate on what might have been. Crying over spilled milk is just not how they operate. Instead, they move forward with glass-half-full optimism and an ability to always look on the bright side-and land on their feet-in nearly any situation.
