Today, on October 12, PENTAGON will release their tenth extended play, WE:TH, as an eight-member group without the oldest member Jinho, who is completing his mandatory military service. The lead single, "Daisy," is an alternative rock song with a trendy yet intense sound, produced by Pentagon members Hui and Wooseok, and composer Nathan. The album consists of six songs, including "I'm Here," a self-composed solo song by Jinho.
PENTAGON also held a showcase for releasing their 10th mini-album 'WE:TH' at the Blue Square iMarket Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and revealed the new song stage.
Having finally joined the group again, Yanan said, "I am happy and excited to stand on stage with the Pentagon after a long time. This activity will use up all the accumulated energy, so I hope you look forward to it."
Hui said, "I came back in a more mature form. I have shown a lot of music that is refreshing, intense, and focused on the concept, but this time I took off my strength and prepared to show an adult-like appearance."
Here, Kino revealed that he had drawn the album art for the jacket cover of "WE:TH."
Kino confessed, "I didn't major in painting, and it's only been about 8 months since I started. I wanted to show it someday when I was ready, but in time for the album, I made the online art cover with my drawing." He added, "This is a picture I drew for the title song 'Daisy.'" Kino also said that he wanted this to be a special gift to Hui before enlistment.
On the other hand, the Pentagon's title song 'Daisy' is an alternative rock song that stands out with a strong and distinct sound and is characterized by trendy yet delicate lyrics that express the vulnerability and sadness that many might relate to, having stemmed from heartbreak or a breakup. The song is set to be released at 6:00 PM today!
Pentagon is a South Korean multinational boy band formed by Cube Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of nine members: Jinho, Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok.
