Get to Know The Official Cast of BTS Universe Drama “YOUTH” Airing this 2021 + Plot and Details

The lineup for the BTS Universe drama, titled "YOUTH", is now revealed!

Composed of fresh and rookie actors, the drama gives a sneak peek at the upcoming plot and character descriptions, that the seven confirmed actors will be portraying in the drama.

In particular, the drama which is based on BTS Universe, hereinafter "YOUTH", is a project that will be launched by Big Hit Entertainment in collaboration with Chorokbaem Media. The drama will be produced by the infamous Producer Kim Jae Hong and will be penned by Kim Soo Jin, who are notable for their recent works, "Your Neighbors' Wife," and "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, respectively.

The drama will feature the struggles and hardships of the BTS members unveiling how they were able to overcome their personal issues together and started walking to the flowery path.

On Monday, the official cast members are identified to be rookie actors Seon Ji Hoon as Jin, Noh Jong Hyun as Suga, Ahn Ji Ho as J-Hope, Young Ju Seo as RM, Kim Yoon Woo as Jimin, Jeong Woo Jin as V, and Jung Jin Seo as Jungkook. They are expected to showcase the fresh and organic emotions of the drama.

Meanwhile, "YOUTH" will revolve around the story of seven young boys who carry their own pains, dreams, and passion, who are set to meet in the BTS Universe.

Seo Ji Hoon will take the role of Jin, who is a boy who aims to be perfect following the footsteps and shadows of his father who works for the National Assembly. Jin is a visually perfect boy but having difficulties expressing his emotions. He has been living following the blueprint his father has set for him.

As for Suga's character, Noh Jong Hyun is set to portray a boy with a tense and terrible rumor about him, which is that he killed his own mom and set their house on fire. Despite his cold look, he is actually warm and loves his mother a lot. His old piano is the way for him to escape the world.

Moving on, Ahn Ji Ho is J-Hope in this drama, an abandoned boy at an amusement park, but he still grew up with positive energy than anyone else and is known to be a dancing machine.

Seo Young Ju will also appear in the project as BTS leader RM, whose dream is to live his daily life as a normal boy. Due to early struggles, he was burdened to become an adult already who accepted many part-time jobs. Street-wise, he has a strong responsibility as well and always comes first for everything.

Moreover, Jimin's role will be played by Kim Yoon Woo. He will be a confused boy who is hiding his real identity behind his bright smile. Marked by false childhood and overprotective family, he developed trauma that made him doubt his own identity.

Jung woo Jin will be playing V then, who has a lot of wounds he got from his drunkard father. His father was originally not like that, but he transformed following the incident of her mom running away from their home. Despite that, he always kept his innocence and believed that one day, everything will return to normal when his mother comes back.

Lastly, Jungkook's character will be played by Jeon Jin Soo. His role is a curious boy who tried to search for the reason for his existence. In a crowd of unstable families, he's not sure what's the meaning of life and death.

"YOUTH" will unveil the reality of the seven members, understanding the in-depth meaning of youth, which expectations will be filled by the rookie actors with promising potential and acting skills. The drama is set to air this 2021.
