JYP announced on the 19th of October, 2020, that Stray Kids would be holding a 'Beyond Live' performance under the title of 'Unlock: GO LIVE IN LIFE' at 3 PM KST on the 22nd of next month. The concert will be ticketed and broadcast live through the Naver V Live platform. This will be Stray Kids' first-ever online concert as they aim to meet with fans, spread a message of hope and positivity, and cheer them on just as they cheer Stray Kids on.

Beyond Live are an online live concert streaming service and concert series by Beyond Live Corporation, a joint venture of South Korean entertainment companies SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment in partnership with Naver first established in April 2020. The first paid concert streaming service in the world is aided by technology such as augmented reality tech and three-dimensional backdrops graphics to produce a full-length online concert. Real-time interactions between artists and the live audience were enabled.

On its establishment, the platform has been regarded by global media as a relevant response in substituting traditional concerts during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. South Korean boy supergroup SuperM headlined the first live concert of the Beyond Live series with the concert titled SuperM: Beyond the Future on April 26, 2020; the live concert recorded over 75,000 virtual tickets sold, playing to the real-time audience from 109 countries. Since its creation, multiple artists from SM (NCT) and JYP (TWICE) have delivered full-length live online concerts within the Beyond Live series. Other K-pop entertainment enterprises started to produce virtual live concerts in a similar format.

Through this online concert, Stray Kids plans to present an upgraded online version of their world tour 'District 9: Unlock', which started in November last year. The group started their world tour in November of last year with a performance at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park and traveled to 8 cities in the USA earlier this year, but due to COVID-19, they had to postpone and cancel the rest of the tour schedule.

Brand new never-seen-before performances of songs such as 'God's Menu' and 'Back Door' can also be expected from the concert.
