BTS Reported to Have Applied for 7 Grammy Nominations

BTS is eyeing 7 Grammy nominations in 2021 with their recent chart-topping release "Dynamite" and their latest album "Map of The Soul: 7".

According to a member of The Recording Academy, BTS recently applied for seven nominations for the 2021 Grammy Awards to be held early next year, through their agency Big Hit Entertainment.

According to this, BTS submitted their 4th regular album "Map of The Soul: 7" for Album of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non Classical.

They also submitted their digital single "Dynamite", which was announced in August and ranked first in the Billboard Hot 100. "Dynamite" also made record breaking history with respect to the number of views on their music video and the number of days it consistently stayed on top of the Billboard Chart.

"Dynamite" was submitted for the categories of Song of The Year, Record of The Year, Best Music Video, and Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Last year BTS presented at the Grammy awards and also performed with Lil Nas X on his song, 'Old Town Road'. However, the boys have consistently said on interviews that they would like to perform on their own song and be nominated for the Grammys. The Grammys have been their ultimate goal for quite a while now and it seems like the time has come for their dream to be realised.

The Grammy Awards are the most prestigious awards ceremony in the record industry hosted by the former American Academy of Records and Arts and Sciences (NARAS).

The Grammy Awards are finalized by voting by the members of the Recording Academy. The list of finalists will be released in November.

Earlier, at a press conference that took place after the top of the Billboard 'Hot 100' chart achievement, they announced their sole stage and a Grammy win is their next goal. We wish BTS all the luck and hope for their win!
