AleXa Makes Her Much-Awaited Comeback

Global power rookie AleXa, has made her official comeback.

From cosplay to voice acting to K-Pop covers to K-Pop trainee to a full-blown K-Pop Idol, she's come a long way, and she's done it all, now standing as the poster child for how hard work and dedication will make all your dreams come true. Her concept is that of an Artificial Intelligence Bot that escapes into a physical body in the real world, and her music videos explore the story of her fighting a mysterious foe through a trilogy of music videos ('Bomb' -> 'Do or Die' -> 'Villain'). It is an unconventional concept for a female debut, but she isn't conventional in any way in the first place.

She made a comeback on 16th July 2020, with the new pre-release single of her second mini-album 'DECOHERENCE' titled 'VILLAIN.'

'DECOHERENCE' is a new mini-album released exactly one year after the debut single 'Bomb' released on October 21, last year. It is an album that goes further into the AleXa Multiverse that she has created through her music and music videos.

The title song 'Revolution' is composed of hip-hop, Latin, and symphonic moments, giving a more intense feeling than before, and AleXa directly participated in writing the lyrics. In particular, it garners further attention from fans for it was created only for AleXa by Design Music, a group of world-class composers who worked with the best Korean singers such as BTS and Red Velvet, and swept the top of the Billboard chart.

In addition to 'Villain' with a dynamic and explosive sound and 'Burn Out' with bold and straight-forward lyrics about love and an addictive hook part, AleXa's sincerity for fans who have always stuck by her with unwavering support is clearly visible. Five tracks, including 'Moon and Back' and 'Revolution (English ver.)', an English song with a global pop feel, were included in this album. On the offline album that will be released physically, you can also enjoy the special track (audiobook) 'Allegory of the Cave,' which consists of an audiobook about Alexa's concept story.

The music video for 'Revolution,' which has attracted attention on a global scale, is reminiscent of a big-budgeted Hollywood blockbuster movie produced by Zany Bros, the largest music video producer in Asia and Korea's largest creative group. The 'Revolution' MV, which makes it impossible to take your eyes off of the screen by combining AleXa's colorful acting and more powerful performances, is expected to splendidly decorate the end of the trilogy series succeeding 'Bomb' and 'Do or Die.'
