On the October 22 episode of 'Miss Back,' Subin appeared as said episode's former girl group member. She shared stories of her past trainee days and what she experienced as she set up her one-person-agency.

In the episode, Subin revealed that she had come to Seoul all by herself to begin training after her parents divorced. She stated that she had become independent early in life, at the age of fifteen when she was still in middle school.

"After my parents divorced, I came to Seoul to start being a trainee and became independent at fifteen-years-old," she stated. She then revealed she was forced to be homeless after running out of money to pay rent. "I ran out of money to pay the rent at the dormitory, but I couldn't bring myself to ask my mother for any allowance. I started staying at a 24-hour hamburger restaurant after buying a cup of coffee. I would sleep there. If I really needed to wash up, I would stay at a sauna."

Following her debut with Dal Shabet, Subin became the breadwinner of her family. Subin's mother and sister expressed how thankful they are for Subin, saying, "We were able to move to a better home thanks to Subin. She said she wanted to lessen the burden of us paying rent." Her younger sister couldn't hide just how grateful she is for supporting and allowing her to do all she wanted. She stated, "I feel so thankful for my sister because she supported my education and allowed us to do everything we wanted. She played the role of a father figure in my life."

She could not help but shed tears as she talked about her mother, who did all she could to take care of her and her younger sibling following her parents' divorce. She reveals, "I have a diverse relationship with my mother. We have a mother-daughter relationship. She is my mother, but she is also my husband, my sister. I am her husband at times as well, and my sister is also. We are all united."

She revealed that now, as she works in a one-person-agency, she runs her studio from home because she lacks the finances to rent a separate studio. She confesses, "I do not have enough money to pay monthly rent for a practice studio, so I set up a studio in my house due to my financial difficulties. It is a one-person-agency, so my family is probably struggling with all the sounds, but they are helping me through it."
