Along with the controversy, a video of shamans telling the fortune of Red Velvet and individual members has come to light again, which is allegedly coming true as of now.

Yonghada, a YouTube channel wherein fortune-tellers or shamans envision people's future, is also popular for foreseeing K-pop idols luck and heyday, may it be on romance, career, rumors, etc. In 2019, the shamans from the same channel also predicted EXO Chen's love life, prior to its official announcement.

As people came to the account, Korean netizens brought back Red Velvet's video which is giving everyone goosebumps.

In the video which was posted in November 2019, two lady shamans were presented with Red Velvet members' individual cards containing their 'saju' or four pillars (birth year, month date, and time), and through physiognomy as well, they started with Irene's fate.

Haul Sindang then said, "If you look at Irene's fate, she's not a big shot. Because she's on a team called Red Velvet right now, the luck of the whole team is helping her."

She added, "In this case, she's not supposed to be a solo artist. Even if she'll be doing a little personal work, she'll be on the loose."

"It's hard for her whether she acts or not. I mean she's just like a sunset-like celebrity."

This part of the fortune-telling session captured K-netizens' attention again. Though Korean fans in the YouTube channel initially threw hate comments at the shamans for allegedly speaking unfounded guesses, netizens are now claiming that everything made sense now.

In particular, Irene just finished filming her upcoming film, "Double Patty," which is her supposed to be a big-screen debut as a solo actress, but fans and supporters of the idol are now worrying that it might get canceled. In particular, Red Velvet's fan meet was just canceled earlier.

At the end of the fortune-telling, the other shaman said, "Now, internal problems of Red Velvet will make them a little sad, but if they overcome this period, each of them can go well in her own field. Do not lose your nerve and cheer up."
