Jay Park recently released his label H1GHR Music, Red Tape, and Blue Tape, which was huge hits with fans and critics alike. AOMG is South Korean hip-hop and R&B record label founded in 2013 by singer, songwriter, and rapper Jay Park. The label represents various music artists such as Loco, Gray, Simon Dominic, Hoody, Woo Won-Jae, Code Kunst, Sogumm, Punchnello, DeVita, and Lee Hi, as well as other entities such as UFC fighter Chan Sung Jung (The Korean Zombie). Above Ordinary Music Group (AOMG) is prominent Korean hip-hop and R&B record label originating from the "Art of Movement," a Seattle-based B-Boying group that Jay Park joined in 2003 featuring members such as Dial Tone, Junior, and Cha Cha Malone. Jay Park founded AOMG in late September 2013, and initially signed composer Jun Goon, singer and producer Gray, and Seattle affiliate Cha Cha Malone, who was a producer and dancer with Jay Park's dance crew Art of Movement. The label had its launch party on October 10, 2013, at "The A" in Seoul with Ben Baller as the host. The same month, the label released its first album, Gray's mini-album, Call Me Gray.
Artists Elo, Loco, Ugly Duck, DJ Wegun, DJ Pumkin, and Hoody joined AOMG over the next two years.

In July 2018, Simon Dominic announced his resignation from his co-CEO position with his song "Me No Jay Park." AOMG later clarified that Dominic would remain as an artist on the label.
In August 2019, AOMG's first hip-hop audition show SignHere began airing on MBN, marking the first-ever hip-hop and R&B record label to have their own audition program on broadcast television. The show lasted 10 episodes, with singer-songwriter Sogumm winning the audition and subsequently joining AOMG as an official label member. Sogumm recently released a song with HYUKOH.
After months of widely reported rumors and speculation, former YG Entertainment soloist Lee Hi announced that she had signed with AOMG in July 2020. Soon after, she released her first single under the label, titled 'Holo.' The song debuted #1 on various South Korea charts.
DJ Wegun is a key figure in AOMG and holds an important role in running the label alongside Jay Park and a couple of other important position holders. Jay Park works closely with DJ Wegun, and fans are looking forward to this collaboration, which they are sure, will bring something unique to the table. With the success of H1GHR's compilation album, fans are expecting just as many hits in this album as well.
