Black Eyed Pil-Seung's first self-produced girl group STAYC has started counting down to their debut and have released a much-awaited concept teaser/preview for their first single album 'Star To A Young Culture.' The single album will include the tracks 'So Bad' and 'Like This.'
On November 2, High Up Entertainment, STAYC's agency dropped a teaser or preview for the group's upcoming single album, 'Star To A Young Culture.' The released snippet shows the members of STAYC having fun being playful with glitter at a studio. This shows the joyful and cheery image that the group members are trying to express through their music.
STAYC's debut album is scheduled to drop on the 12th of November 2020 at 6 PM KST. The countdown until the debut is filled with surprise releases, including concept photos, a preview video consisting of three versions of a tracklist, concept, album, choreography, and a music video teaser video.
STAYC (consisting of members Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, J), which is the short form of 'Star To A Young Culture' has released the schedule of the promotion content release until debut through their official SNS account at 00:00 KST on the 23rd of October 2020'.
STAYC has been deemed to be a revolutionary new K-pop girl group coming from the producing team that produced several incredible hit songs for popular girl groups such as Twice, Chungha, Apink, and Sistar, and recently, the first activity song 'DON'T TOUCH ME.' It will be the first girl group in charge of self-production and production by Black Eyed Pil Seung.
STAYC stands for 'Star To A Young Culture,' meaning 'I will become a star leading young culture.' As expected, high attention is being paid to what kind of concept StayC will bring to the music industry.
An official from the agency said, "I am grateful that STAYC (StayC) is being shown a lot of interest and support even though it is still before debut. The members are working hard to prepare for their debut to greet fans with a more wonderful look."
Sumin was originally going to be a contestant on Produce 48. She and Yoon are roommates. She trained for 5 years and 6 months. She participated in VICTON's reality show, Me & 7 Men, as "the invisible girl." She auditioned for Kpop Star. She was in Huh Gak's 'The Last Night' MV. She joined High Up in 2018. She is a former trainee under Play M Entertainment.
Sieun is the daughter of Park Namjung. She has appeared on many TV shows like "Happy Together," "Law of the Jungle K," "Kids Are Life's Blessing," etc. She joined High Up in 2019. She joined JYP on January 18, 2017, and she left the company in 2020. She was also on The King Of Masked Singer. She's a former trainee and actress under JYP. She has acted in many K-dramas like "Mystic Pop-up Bar," "Just Between Lovers," "Still 17", etc.
Isa was introduced on October 13, 2020. She joined High Up in March 2018. Isa was the first member to join the company. Seeun trained for 2 years and 7 months. She joined High Up in 2019. Yoon was introduced on October 15, 2020, and J, the maknae of the group, was introduced on October 14, 2020. Fans cannot wait to meet the group members and are eager to listen to their music.
