Many international fans and netizens praised the groups for their outstanding visuals. People commented that the girls looked absolutely gorgeous and that they all shine in the shoot. Many also commented on how happy they are seeing Wendy looking happy and healthy. The last time Wendy has promoted with the group was in Aug. 2020, to celebrate BoA's 20th anniversary.

However, there are still people who do not want to see Irene promoting with Red Velvet, saying that she should not only leave Red Velvet but SM Entertainment as a whole. People say that they feel bad for the other members and how they have to promote with such a member.

Read their comments here:

"Irene's image is just scary now."

"The other members didn't even do anything wrong. SM Entertainment is crazy."

"Please, save the other members. Please, make a comeback as four members."

"Irene-ah, please just leave SM Entertainment."

"I wonder if she has apologized to her members yet."

"I guess SM just doesn't care about the controversy."

"I hope she reflects a lot and shows a good image in the future."

Previously, Kang Kook Hwa exposed an unnamed female idol for her bad image and behavior. Though she did not name the idol, she ended the post with the caption #psycho and #monster, which led people to believe it was a Red Velvet member.

It was revealed to be Irene. SM Entertainment made a statement on the matter and Irene made an apology to her personal Instagram account. Since then, the girls have not appeared in any events or promotional activities.
