SHINee Taemin And EXO Kai To Appear On ‘Amazing Saturday’ Together

On November 6, 2020, it was reported that Kai and Taemin are recording for "Amazing Saturday" today.

In response to the report, a source from the program confirmed, "Taemin and Kai are participating in the recording on [November] 6. This episode is scheduled to air sometime in November." Taemin and Kai currently promote together as SuperM, and while Taemin is getting ready for his comeback, Kai is preparing for his solo debut.

DoReMi Market, also known as Amazing Saturday, is a South Korean television program on tvN. It currently stars Shin Dong-yup, Kim Dong-Hyun, Moon Se-Yoon, Park Na-Rae, Hyeri (Girl's Day), Nucksal, and P.O (Block B), with Boom as the primary host. The program airs every Saturday at 19:35 (KST) starting from April 7, 2018. Nucksal and P.O (Block B) joined the show starting from episode 52 to replace Hanhae and Key (SHINee), who were confirmed to enlist in the army on February 7 and March 4, 2019, respectively. Hanhae and Key officially left after episode 47 and episode 51, respectively, following military enlistments.

Every week there will be a featured market from South Korea, and within it, there are three types of food selected as its representatives. The cast and guest(s), as contestants, have to play games and win to be able to enjoy the food. There will be a dressing theme concept for the cast and guest(s) to follow for each episode's filming.

For episodes 1-4, the program format included only three rounds of song dictation. From episode 5, the program format changed to 2 rounds of song dictation, with a Snack Time in between the dictation segments.

Kim Jong-in, better known as Kai, is a South Korean singer, model, actor, and dancer. He is a South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo, its subunit Exo-K, and South Korean supergroup SuperM. Apart from his group's activities, Kai has also starred in various television dramas such as Choco Bank (2016), Andante (2017), and Spring Has Come (2018). Kai is widely considered to be one of the best dancers of South Korea and K-pop. On July 3, SM Entertainment announced that Kai will release his first solo album, and is currently working on the album production with the second half of 2020.

On October 12, the editor-in-chief of the magazine "1st Look" posted a photo with Kai on social media, announcing that Kai has become the first-ever male muse of the cosmetics brand "Bobbi Brown."

On October 26, Hyundai Motors announced on social media that it would cooperate with SM Entertainment. Kai will appear in the online showcase of "TUCSON Beyond Drive," presenting a music performance "Follow Your Hidden Light" that combines K-pop and AR technology. The performance was broadcast live on Hyundai Motors' YouTube channel on November 1.

Lee Tae-min, better known by the mononym Taemin, is a South Korean singer, actor, dancer, and songwriter. He debuted at age 14 as a Shinee member in May 2008, and his success and artistic impact have led him to be called the "Idol's Idol." He began his acting career in 2009 with MBC's comedy Tae-Hee, Hye-Kyo, Ji-Hyun, as Junsu.

Taemin began his solo career in 2014 with his first extended play, Ace. It peaked at number one on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart, and it's lead single "Danger" reached number 5 on the Gaon Weekly Digital Chart. His first studio album, Press It (2016), charted at number one on the Gaon Album Chart. In July 2016, Taemin released his second extended play, Solitary Goodbye, and made his solo debut in Japan.

In 2017, Taemin released his second full Korean album, Move; the title track gained attention thanks to its distinctive choreography. Move-ing, the repackaged album, followed on December 10, 2017, with the self-written "Day and Night" as the title track. In 2018, Taemin released his first full Japanese album, Taemin, which coincided with his first tour in Japan. In February 2019, Taemin released his second Korean mini-album, Want, with a title track of the same name. He became a member of SM Entertainment's supergroup SuperM in 2019.

On July 26, 2020, Taemin revealed through his Instagram page that he would release his third Korean studio album, titled Never Gonna Dance Again, in August, with the promotional single, titled "2 Kids," due to be released on August 4. The single will serve as the prologue to the album, which is set to have two parts. The first part of the album was released on September 7, with "Criminal" serving as the lead single. The second part of the album will be released on Monday, Nov. 9, with "Idea" (理想) serving as the lead single.
