MONSTA X Wraps Up Activities for 'Love Killa', Finishes With 2 Awards

MONSTA X successfully wraps up their promotional activities for their hit single "Love Killa," expressing gratitude for securing two music show wins.

The six-piece K-Pop boy group officially concluded their two-week journey for "Love Killa," the lead single from their third studio album "Fatal Love," with an appearance on the Nov. 15 episode of SBS' "Inkigayo." MONSTA X extended their messages through their talent agency, Starship Entertainment.

"We're really happy to finish this activity well. We've tried hard to show you a new side of us while preparing for our third full-length album. Above all, we're very proud that the fans like it.," the boy group said. They added: "We're very grateful to the staff who worked hard with Monbebe for allowing us to win first place on music shows twice at the same time as our comeback."

MONSTA X reassured fans: "We have finished our two-week activities, but we will come back with year-end award ceremonies and various content activities, so please wait a little longer."

"Love Killa" has earned the group two wins since Starship dropped its official music video on Nov. 2. On the Nov. 10 episode of SBS MTV's "The Show," MONSTA X took home the crown after earning a total of 7,410 points as a combination of album sales and votes sent to the show. Their second music program win comes from MBC M's Nov. 11 episode for "Show Champion," where "Love Killa" got the boy group's overall win.

The music video showcased the group's darker and more mature side with each member taking on an iconic bad boy from modern pop culture - from Hyungwon's "Fight Club" homage to Joohoney recreating the iconic school bus robbery from "The Dark Knight."

As a result of MONSTA X's strong comeback and the warm reception it inspired, their comeback show on their Naver V LIVEchannel has already received close to a million views and posted a staggering 1.5 billion hearts since its Nov. 3 live stream. A little over two weeks since the MV release, "Love Killa" has surpassed 23 million views on YouTube, and still counting. Additionally, the group's album "Fatal Love" currently sits at the Gaon Album Charts' top.
