STAYC is already reaching impressive achievements, even if they just made their debut.
STAYC is the first girl group formed by High Up Entertainment, an agency founded by Black Eyed Pilseung (a producer duo) in 2017, in partnership with CJ E&M. The female act was created after three years and is made up of six members, namely Sieun, Isa, J, Sumin, Seeun, and Yoon.
Considering that Black Eyed Pilseung will produce the rookie group's songs, K-Pop fans and netizens alike anticipated the band's debut. Black Eyed Pilseung is known for having numerous K-Pop hit songs such as Sistar's "Touch My Body," Chungha's "Gotta Go," and TWICE's "Like Ooh-Ah," "TT," "Likey," and many more.
Furthermore, the music video for STAYC's debut single "SO BAD" has also been a splendid success as it managed to reach 2.6 million views with 104,000 likes, and trended at No. 11 on YouTube South Korea in only 24 hours after it was released. The rookie group has also shared the track's full choreography the day after they launched their single album. And on Nov. 14, STAYC dropped the performance video of the B-side track "Like This."
What's more, STAYC even garnered more than 30 thousand streams and over 10 thousand unique listeners on Genie.
The rookie group is announced to be making an appearance in 1theK "Hard Training" variety program in other news. The members will be undergoing training classes, best known for its Spartan training course to make the artists professional idol singers.
