Park Ji Hoon, singer-actor and former member of boy group Wanna One, is the latest artist to join the K-Pop multi-platform UNIVERSE.
NCSoft Corporation and Klap Co. Ltd first announced on Nov. 22, where the former Wanna One member will be sharing new content and communicating with his fans worldwide. On the same day, his "DISAPPEAR" video was uploaded on the UNIVERSE Official YouTube channel. A commentary video followed it released the next day, Nov. 23, where Park Ji Hoon revealed the clues to his UNIVERSE "Planet." Opening with a missing poster, the 21-year-old (22 in Korean reckoning) reveals himself and requests his fans to "save all the clues in your heart with me." His UNIVERSE clues included a one-stringed guitar, a pink tracksuit, a schnauzer doll, and more.
"MAY, let's stay together forever! Where? At Park Ji Hoon's UNIVERSE!" the artist added, rocking an irresistible aegyo even in his plain white sweater.

Park Ji Hoon is the latest artist to join the promising and exciting new platform for fans and their favorite idols to interact. WJSN, Astro, Daniel Kang, AB6IX, MONSTA X, The Boys, and more are also already on the platform, each with their own "Planet" to share content with their respective fan bases.
With the new interaction space, fans can enjoy exclusive content from their favorite artists, as well as new features fans can enjoy whether they are online or offline. UNIVERSE services will be arriving in three languages (English, Korean, Japanese) and are set to cater to 134 different countries.
In the UNIVERSE, fans can archive their fandom's activities and earn in-app rewards with the "Collection" feature. Furthermore, users can even style up their favorite artists' animated 3D avatars and record their own music videos with "Studio." These animated avatars' movement is based on the actual motion capture data provided by the artists themselves!
Using the latest technology, fans can even listen to an AI voice that sounds exactly like Park Ji Hoon. NCSoft employs its own speech synthesis technology, coupled with the artists' actual voice recordings.
Fans can now pre-register for their exclusive access and get raffle tickets. More information will be revealed, according to the UNIVERSE Pre-Registration webpage, on Dec. 9.
Park Ji Hoon
Born on May 29, 1999, Park Ji Hoon was first known for joining the reality competition show "Produce 101 Season 2," where he finally finished second. His win included him as a member of the K-pop boy group Wanna One.
As an actor, he made his debut as a child actor in MBC's 2006 historical epic "Jumong," continuing with roles in television series "The King and I," "Kimchi Cheese Smile," and "Iljimae." In September 2019, he returned to acting with the lead role in HBTC's historical drama "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency."
As Wanna One officially disbanded on December 31, 2018, Park pursued a solo career and released his debut EP "O'Clock," supported by its lead single "L.O.V.E."
