BLACKPINK's Jisoo has recently uploaded a new picture, and she reminded fans of someone who is widely known for being a member of the legendary girl group 2NE1.
On Nov. 29, Jisoo took to Instagram to share a new photo, along with the caption "This is today's Jisoo." In the shot, the BLACKPINK member can be seen sporting a black hoodie paired with black pants and flip flops, plus a branded sling bag with a bunny keychain that has the initials JS embroidered on its ear.
While fans were aware of who made the post, the picture seemed to show a different person who is popularly known not only in South Korea but also in other countries all around the world - it's none other than Sandara Park, a former member of 2NE1.
Some BLINKs (BLACPINK's official fan club) commented on Jisoo's post, stating that they thought it was Sandara at first glance. Meanwhile, other fans praised the idol for her impressive visual.
Sandara Park, also called by her stage name Dara, is also known for her bunny-like cute appearance, just like BLACKPINK's Jisoo since they both flaunt adorable and fresh charms.
The two idols are often compared to each other as they both come from the same agency, YG Entertainment, and have similar positions within the girl group as the visuals and vocalists. Even right after Jisoo debuted as a BLACKPINK member, many have been comparing her to Dara as they seem to resemble each other.
Kim Jisoo, mononymously known as Jisoo, is a singer and actress in South Korea. She is widely recognized for being a member of the world-renowned girl group BLACKPINK of YG Entertainment. Prior to her debut, she was able to work with her look-alike Sandara Park in KBS2's drama titled "The Producers," along with WINNER's Kang Seungyoon.
At present, she is filming for the upcoming JTBC drama "Snowdrop," alongside other actors such as Jung Haein, Jang Seungjo, Kim Hyeyoon, Jung Yoojin, and Yoon Seah. In the drama, she will be taking one of the main characters named Eun Youngcho, marking her very first leading role.
"Snowdrop" takes place in Seoul in 1987 and is about a male university student named Im Soo Ho (played by Jung Hae In), who enters a female dormitory one day covered in blood. Eun Young Cho (played by BLACKPINK's Jisoo), a cheerful and lovable student, hides and takes care of him even while facing danger.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently surprised fans with a teaser video titled "BLACKPINK AROUND THE WORLD." It displays satellite view shots of major cities around the world, alongside its local time. It started with Seoul, followed by Paris, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, New York, London, Istanbul, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Singapore, Jakarta, etc. In the clip, BLACKPINK's hit song "How You Like That" plays as the music background.
Moreover, the quartet took part in the Waktu Indonesia Belanja (WIB) TV show (Indonesia's shopping time TV program), an event organized by e-commerce platform Tokopedia last Nov. 25.
